PURPOSE:To easily insert plural characters into a blank area by specifying a blocked area and successively arranging character strings to the blocked area. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a blocked area specifying means 18 for specifying a prescribed blocked area such as a sector and a rectangle to a display screen 21 such as a CFT, a character string specifying means such as a keyboard 17 for specifying a character string consisting of characters or codes to be inputted to the blocked area and character arranging means 11, 13 for arranging the character string specified by the character string specifying means to the blocked area. A required blocked area is previously specified and individual characters are arranged to the closed area. Consequently, a character string can easily be arranged in a space in a formed sentence or graphic as compared with a conventional device setting up a scale factor and confirming a displaying area. |
