A carrier-bag handle comprises two U-handles 10, 12 connected respectively to bag attaching reinforcement strip 18 by their lower leg parts, each pair of lower parts having a spacing x, y, e.g. by inclining in opposite directions, so that one handle is passed through the other, the handles lying flat together with one handle having a projection or hook 30 engaging the other handle at notch 34 to close the bag. A bag suspension hook 36 may be scored for tearing off one handle. The handles may be offset respectively at 26, 28 from the reinforcement strip and inside recesses 22 formed at the feet of one handle. |
