PURPOSE:To reduce signal transmission delay time and skew while ensuring maintainability by arranging optical connectors between or in contact with electronic circuit parts. CONSTITUTION:On substrates 1-1, 1-2 on which a plural number of electronic circuit parts are mounted, optical connectors 10-1 to 10-4 are arranged between or in contact with a plural number of electronic circuit parts. In this case, electrical signal conductor which connects electronic circuit parts 3-1, 3-2 and optical connectors 10-1 to 10-4 is shorter when compared with the case where optical connectors are arranged at one end of the substrates. Thus, it is possible to increase the ratio of length of an optical fiber 11 which occupies in all the transmission path. Also, since the optical fiber 11 realizes higher speed and lower skew than the electrical signal conductor which connects the optical fiber and electronic circuit parts, transmission time and skew can be reduced. |
