A measurement bearing contains a roller bearing (2) in a housing (1) consisting of an inner ring (3) which directly holds the roller bearing and an outer ring (4) attached to the machine frame. The inner and outer rings are elastically connected via a web (5). A displacement transducer (7) is arranged between the inner and outer rings and opposite the connecting web. The inner ring has an approximately radial edge (12) on its side opposite the web. The displacement transducer (7) is built into the outer ring at the edge (12) position. USE/ADVANTAGE - Displacement of web is measured using low-cost transducers, e.g. inductive displacement sensors, sufficiently accurately for finishing machine.
