PURPOSE:To obtain a converter device for protecting a transistor even when an extraneous surge is applied by connecting diodes in parallel to a current transformer of a feedback circuit, and by using the diode of slow diode characteristic as this diode. CONSTITUTION:Diodes D2-D4 are connected in parallel to a secondary coil Tr2 of a drive transformer Tr (current transformer). The diodes D2-D4 are of slower diode characteristic compared with that of a conventional diode. Namely, the tilting of a static characteristic curve is smaller in a low injection region, and an electric potential obstacle is thus small. Even when an extraneous surge is applied, due to the diodes D2-D4 of slower diode characteristic, an erronous operation due to extraneous surge can be prevented for a switching device. The breakeover and the destruction of a transistor Q (switching device) at the time of application of extraneous surge can thus be prevented. |
