Coupler for monorail trolley to current rail - has transversely movable slide carriage with travel rail sections at points for coupling and decoupling

The monorail battery-driven trolley is (un)coupled to a conductor rail by explosion-proof plug connectors. At the (de)coupling points is fitted a transversely movable slide carriage (16) with two rail sections (15, 17), set into the monorail (2). One rail section (15) carries a rail-mounted tender (13) with a plug connector (12) and a follower arm (8). The other plug connector (19) is associated with a multi-core truck (20) for the trolley (3). USE/ADVANTAGE - For coal mine roadways, esp. at inclines, with facility for safe, antromatic (de)coupling of battery powered trolley.
