In a system for flue gas suction from a desulphurisation reactor which has an additive distributor and a gas inlet channel in its top region and a gas suction channel in its funnel region, the suction channel (4) is integrated via an entry portion (7) with a collector (8) in the reactor wall (6), the entry portion (7) being joined to a circular array of spaced individual downpipes (12) in the reactor interior. ADVANTAGE - The system requires no internal fittings for hot gas mixing, produces uniform gas and heat flow and is self-cleaning.
