The present invention relates to a microwave tube with at least one electron beam (32) passing through at least one resonant cavity (34) forming an integral part of the tube. The cavity includes at least one structure of solid dielectric material with dielectric constant greater than one. This structure occupies the major part of the volume of the resonant cavity.
