摘要 PURPOSE:To make the manufacturing cost of a separating column low and to improve separating efficiency by filling filler in the holes of porous plate having the tapered part, and imparting appropriate pressure loss on fluid passing the porous plate. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus has a column main body 1, a filler supporting floor 14 and a porous plate 12. A chromatographic separating filler layer 2 is formed in the column main body 1. The filler supporting floor 14 is arranged at the downstream side from the filler layer 2 in the fluid flowing direction. The porous plate 12 is arranged on the filler supporting floor 14 in contact with the filler layer 2. The porous plate 12 has many holes. The area of the cross section of the tapered part of the hole has the largest value at the plane in contact with the filler layer 2. The cross sectional area is gradually decreased toward the filler supporting floor 14. Thus, filler is filled in the hole which is opened at the wide cross sectional area on the side in contact with the filler layer 2 in the porous plate 11. The cross sectional area of the hole is gradually decreased toward the filler supporting floor 14. Therefore, the pressure loss of the fluid flowing through this part becomes large. The drift of the fluid flowing through the filler layer 2 can be decreased, and the separating efficiency can be improved.
