Offset and response compensation of line or matrix detectors

The line or mosaic detector used for thermal image processing has a facility for compensation to reduce the effect of the so called Aliasing phensmenon. As two detectors (1,2) are moved between positions (1'-n') differences of voltage (U) are apparent. As one detector (1) moves to the position previously associated with the other (2) an offset voltage difference exists. The process eliminates the difference to harmonise the output.
