PURPOSE:To obtain a visually good character pattern by utilizing the character output size data from an external storage apparatus. CONSTITUTION:An output size confirming apparatus 11 inputs the dot type character pattern signal A3 wherein the inside or outside of the contour of a character pattern in painted out and the character output size data signal C0 outputted by an external indication apparatus to confirm both inputted signals A3, C0 and judges which image among ones stored in an adding image storage apparatus 12 must be added to output the image to be added to a line end correcting apparatus 13 as a dot type character pattern signal A4 and also issues a command showing which added image must be added to the adding image storage apparatus 12 as a character output sized data signal C1. The line end correcting apparatus 13 corrects a line end part on the basis of the dot type character pattern signal A4 from the output size confirming apparatus 11 and the added image dot type character pattern signal C2 from the adding image storage apparatus to output the same to an output apparatus 6 as a dot type character pattern signal A5. By this method, storage capacity to be stored as a pattern is reduced. |
