<p>PURPOSE:To execute the initialization of an arithmetic processing unit at a high speed by giving a parity to initialization data by using an instruction of a diagnostic control software which a diagnostic controller has. CONSTITUTION:At the time of initialization, a diagnostic control part 3 scans out a register of an arithmetic processing unit 1 to a buffer 4. Subsequently, the control part 3 reads out initialization data to a register 5 from a storage part 7 and gives it as a parameter to a parity giving instruction. The parity giving instruction calculates a parity from the initialization data, and gives the parity to data of the register 5. Next, the control part 3 rewrites the data to which the parity of the register 5 is given to the storage part 7. In such a way, by giving the parity to the initialization data by using a control software which a diagnostic controller has, initialization of the arithmetic processing unit can be executed at a high speed.</p> |
