<p>Sorting device for old glass having a chute 1 for delivering the old glass, and a detector device 8a, 8b, arranged in the region of the end of the chute, for detecting opaque accompanying material, such as ceramic, metal or the like, and a separating device 9 controlled by the said detector device.
