发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF SUPERCONDUCTING MAGNET
摘要 PURPOSE:To simply and surely manufacture a superconducting magnet whose coil and persistent current switch are constituted of a compound-based superconducting wire or an oxide-based superconducting wire which is hard to handle without damaging the feature of the compound superconducting wire or the oxide superconducting wire by a method wherein a process in which stress is easily exerted on a wire material is finished before a heat treatment and, after that, the heat treatment is executed. CONSTITUTION:An Nb3Sn wire material which has not yet been heat-treated is wound and mounted inside a ring-shaped groove 22 to constitute a coil element. An Nb3Sn wire material is wound and mounted inside a ring-shaped groove 23 to constitute a persistent current switch element. Then, both wire ends 30 of the coil element and both wire ends 31 of the persistent current switch element are guided into a ring-shaped groove 24 through grooves formed at ring-shaped parts 28, 29; they are connected to power leads 27. Then, parts which serve as the coil element, the persistent current switch element and interconnections as well as the outer circumference of connecting parts are covered with a quartz glass cloth; the cloth is fixed temporarily by using a wire or the like; after that, this assembly together with a bobbin 21 is put in a heat treatment furnace and a heat treatment is executed. In this manner, a process in which a strain is easily exerted is finished before the heat treatment, and, after that, the heat treatment is executed.
