<p>The invention relates to a carpet or wall covering in strip form, composed of a strip of paper, on the visible side of which fibres are arranged. The object of the invention is to produce a covering, which is, on the one hand, economical to manufacture and, on the other hand, allows novel aesthetic effects. This object is achieved, according to the invention, in a carpet of the type mentioned hereinabove, by virtue of the fact that the fibres (1) are arranged loose in the form of a mat and are placed in bundles, the average distance between the bundles being greater than their diameters. <IMAGE></p> |
