The invention relates to a process for filtering out the lower or upper sideband of a double-sideband oscillation to be assessed from a mixture of several double-sideband oscillations, the upper and/or lower sideband of which suffers interference from the upper or lower sideband of an adjacent double sideband oscillation facing it and at least partly superimposed thereon, in radio installations, especially multi-channel radio and short-wave telecommunication installations. The interfering sidebands of the double sideband oscillation are taken by upward, downward and/or multiple mixing for conversion into the opposite position into the frequency position of the sidebands subject to the interference and eliminated by addition with the opposite sign. An embodiment is shown in the circuit arrangement of fig. 6, where frequency-doubled carrier oscillations are used for conversion into the opposite position.
