PURPOSE:To try to obtain a continuous display as possible by composing a display image with a corrective image by means of an image composition part, and correcting intervals between image elements of the display image. CONSTITUTION:Image elements of a liquid crystal panel 4 are composed of respective image elements 20, 21,... of a display image 40 and respective image elements 30, 31,... of a corrective image 50, for example, when the image element 20 is displayed, the image element 30 is also displayed simultaneously. Therefore, an interval between the image element 20 and the image element 21 can be corrected by the element 30 by composing, by means of a polarized beam splitter 6, the display image 40, with the corrective image 50 which is reflected by a mirror 5. The other image elements are corrected in the same way, the images are magnified by a projection lens 7 and grown up to a display in which the intervals between image elements are corrected when it is projected on a screen 8. Thus we can try to obtain a continuous display as possible. |
