PURPOSE:To form it into a simple and compact structure as well as to transfer a visible image on both sides of a recording medium by transferring an image being formed by one side information to one direction of the recording medium, and another image being formed by the other side information to the other side, respectively. CONSTITUTION:Image information is read by an image information reader and, after being received by a control part 40, it is given to an exposure means 24 as a properly processed image signal. It is a normal latent image being formed first, this latent image is developed by a developing means 24, through which a normal visible image is formed there, thus it is subjected to electrostatic image transfer at the side of a transfer drum 31 at a rolling contact point D between a sensitizing drum 21 and the transfer drum 31. On the other hand, a mirror latent image is formed in the sensitizing drum 21 on the basis of a signal out of the control part 40, and thereby a mirror visible image by means of this mirror latent image is formed as well. Accordingly, this mirror visible image is transferred on the surface of a recording medium R and the normal visible image on the backside, respectively. With this constitution, duplex printing is made performable with a single sensitizer and, what is more, at one time recording medium conveying process. |
