<p>PURPOSE:To prevent mixing of nondefective tapes with defective soft tapes by building a means for detecting tension for a fixed time from the start of a recording and providing a means to output a control signal when a preset level of tension is reached within the time. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus is provided with a tension post 1, a means 3 which detects a level of tension of a magnetic tape 2 depending on the position of the post 1, a means 22 to indicate the proceeding of a recording and a timer 21. Tension of the magnetic tape 2 is detected for a fixed time set with the timer 21 from the start of the recording and a control signal is outputted when a preset level of tension is detected within the fixed time. Thus, abnormal tension of the magnetic tape 2 is detected only for fixed time after the start of a recording thereby allowing the detection of abnormal load, poor running of the magnetic tape 2 and the like that can not be discovered traditionally. This facilitates the avoiding of mixing of a video software dabbed with a defective product thereby achieving higher efficiency as a whole.</p> |
