PURPOSE:To achieve downsizing of optical fibers together with an optical fiber connector in an integrated manner by arranging three-dimensionally the end parts of multiple optical fibers to be united. CONSTITUTION:There are formed 20 optical waveguide parts 3 on each end of an optical waveguide substrate 1, and there are arranged in line the ends of 20 optical waveguide parts 3 on each end of one optical waveguide substrate 1. Such waveguide substrates 1 are connected so that the trapezoidal surfaces may be arranged to face to each other, and on each end 20 optical waveguide parts 3 per row are arranged in two rows up and down. There are arranged three-dimensionally 20 optical fibers 4 per row which are connected with these optical waveguide parts 3 in two rows. Two waveguide substrates 1, 1 are connected so that the central flat surfaces of their trapezoidal surface may face to each other. There is positioned a respective branch-connecting part 2 in this central flat surface, resulting in mutual connection of these branch- connecting parts 2. |
