PURPOSE:To high-precisely decide a coaxial property between an output shaft and the sensor shaft of a sensor by locating a support stay made of a metal between a cover with which a drive member is covered and a drive member and mounting a sensor shaft, rotated integrally with an output shaft, on the support stay. CONSTITUTION:A drive sprocket 19 is fixed to the lead-out part of an output shaft 17 supported to the rear part of a transmission case 12 of an engine 9. A sprocket cover 25 with which the transmission case 12 and the drive sprocket 19 are covered from a side is formed integrally with the rear part of a crank case cover made of synthetic resin. A support stay 30 made of an aluminum die casting is mounted to the one side of the transmission case 12. A boss part 32 of the support stay 30 is overlapped with a mounting seat part 33 and fixed by means of a bolt 34. A sensor 38 for detecting the number of revolutions is mounted on the base plate part 31 of the support stay 30. The sensor 38 detects the number of revolutions of an output shaft 17 from rotation of a sensor shaft 45 positioned coaxially with an output shaft.
