PURPOSE:To make continuous grinding work possible by providing wiper devices with which abrasive sheets which are movable in the pass direction of material in a pair of mill rolls are pressed against rolls. CONSTITUTION:Pressing frames 1 which are movable backwards and forwards to the mill rolls 2 and moving bases 11 which can be reciprocated in the axial direction of the mill rolls are provided and the continuous wiper device for mill roll 2 is composed of a pressing roll 16 with which the abrasive sheet 35 is pressed against the mill roll and a device for moving the grinding device which consists of a winding shaft 30 for feeding abrasive sheet and rewinding shaft 25 on this moving base. In this way, the transfer of working position of abrasive sheet to the mill roll is executed without stopping the operation of line and grinding work can be continuously done.
