PURPOSE:To improve the space factor of a coil and generate little heat even from a small coil by constituting the coil of thin conductor strips of the same shape piled one on top of another. CONSTITUTION:The approximately C-shaped conductor strips 1a and 1b of a stator coil 1 are made by cutting approximately O-shaped thin strips at one place. The cut parts of the conductor strips 1a and 1b are different and one turn of the coil equivalent to one turn of a conventional linear coil is made by piling a couple of strips one on top of another. The conductor strips 1a and 1b can be formed into the same shape and reversed alternately to accomplish cost reduction. |
