摘要 A volume flow sensor (11) measures the flow to the patient. The signal, UV', produced reaches an integrator (1) having a limiter circuit (2) in a feedback to control the threshold volume, V grenz, from a signal, UV grenz. The output of the integrator is connected to the input of an amplifier (10) via potentiometer (9) whose setting is proportional to the inverse compliance, Kc1. If the voltage, UV', becomes negative during exspiration, it is extended to a further input of the integrator via a diode (3). The signal, UV grenz. is set in advance by another potentiometer (15). The signal UV' is also applied to the input of a multiplier (6) and the input of a double path rectifier (4) where it reaches the other input of the multiplier via a resistance network (5). ADVANTAGE - Keeps patient breathing over long period despite low natural breathing flower while avoiding disadvantages of controlled breathing machine.
