The coupling system has a drive/charge coupling between the engine and the gearing. The coupling is operated electrically by means of an auxiliary force and a coupling disengagement lever. The positions of the coupling is detected via a travel meter. The operating device consists of a complex operating unit on the coupling containing an operating cylinder for the lever. The cylinder is associated with the travel meter and with magnetic valves controlling auxiliary force. The pressure supply for the auxiliary force is derived from a supply connection and flow and control lines for the magnetic valves. Only one multiple connection is provided for the electrical lines.
