PURPOSE:To attain ease of setup by using a scanner section so as to set internal information of the recorder. CONSTITUTION:Internal information of a recorder (such as a laser printer 6) recorded on a paper sheet 8' consists of, for example, a bar code part 80, a user identification character part 81 and a paper supply direction indication part 82 read by a scanner section 7. Plural paper sheets 8' with internal information recorded thereon are prepared corresponding to various setting of the recorder 6, the user allows a read section 7A of the scanner section 7 to read the setting paper and the internal information is set. Thus, various ways of setup are implemented simply. |
