PURPOSE:To improve charging and discharging cycle characteristics by adding triflat, having a substituent including a common service group, to a nonaqueous electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:Triflat, having a substituent including a conjugate radical, is added to a nonaqueous electrolyte in a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery providing a rechargeable positive electrode 4, a negative electrode 1 having an active material or lithium or a lithium alloy, and a nonaqueous electrolyte in which at least one solute is mixed in an organic solvent. Consequently lithium, a negative electrode active material, and the triflat, having the substituent including the conjugate radical, react to produce a film on a lithium negative electrode surface, resulting in the restraint of the reaction between active electric deposition lithium and the organic solvent composing the nonaqueous electrolyte. This restrains the deterioration of the nonaqueous electrolyte, represses the dentrite-like growth of active lithium on a negative electrode surface due to charging and discharging, and improves a charge and discharge cycle characteristic. |
