The bench is provided as means for carrying out the repair and control of the deformations in vehicle chassis and bodywork when these have suffered accidents or damage of any type, achieving this on the basis of an alignment of this bodywork or chassis with scrupulous respect for the measurements and references set by the vehicle constructor. The control and repair bench basically includes a rolling platform 1 where the vehicle is placed, anchoring arms 9 which are mounted and slide laterally on the longitudinal members 2 of this platform 1 in order to secure the vehicle, also including a straightening device using traction, based on a chain 33 which runs via pulleys 32, which device is mounted in a horizontal support 27 which can be fixed to the platform 1, finally including a measuring system based on a structure with a series of telescopic columns 42 mounted on crosspieces 38 which can be displaced in the longitudinal direction, these telescopic bars or columns 42 incorporating an accessory 44 at their upper end for their positioning on a specific point or deformation of the vehicle bodywork in order to determine the measurement of said deformation. <IMAGE>
