PURPOSE:To reduce power for a radio communication equipment employing the frequency diversity by comparing both received signals for active and standby system so as to command power supply only to a system whose reception state is excellent. CONSTITUTION:A radio signal 2 received by an antenna 1 is sent to receivers 4a, 4b of both systems via a transmission reception signal distributer 3 respectively and sent further to demodulators 5a, 5b and the demodulated signal is sent to a reception switch 6. The reception switch 6 compares both the received signals of the active and the standby system and selects a system whose reception state is excellent based on both the signals and controls a power distributer 7 so as to supply power to only an equipment of the selected system. Thus, the power consumption of the radio communication equipment employing the frequency diversity is reduced. |
