<p>An optical recording medium has a substrate, a first information layer which is provided in a beam incident side of the substrate, and a second information layer which serves as the semi-transparent information layer and is provided in a beam incident side of the first information layer, the second information layer is configured to include: a recording film formed from a phase-change material which is rewritable by means of an optical system in which » / NA ‰¤ 650 nm, NA being the numerical aperture of an objective lens, » being a wavelength of a laser beam; and an interface layer which is provided adjacent to a beam incident side of the recording film, the interface layer is formed from ZnS, SiO 2 , and Cr 2 O 3 , the recording film contains Sb as a main component and Ge as a minor component, and in the optical recording medium, high speed recording to a semi-transparent information layer is achieved without excessively increasing the power of a laser, deteriorating the thermal stability of an amorphous mark, and causing peeling of a film.</p> |
