<p>A protective device, particularly a welding shield, comprising a portion (1) of an opaque material and provided with a transparent section (2) in the area of the eyes of the wearer. The protective device further comprises a protective glass (4) arranged to be turned upwards and a transparent viewing section (6) formed below the transparent section (2) at an angle with respect to the section (2). The lower edge of the protective glass (4) is provided with a protective plate (7) extending downwardly from the lower edge and preventing the entrance of radiation to the viewing section (6) when the workpiece is viewed through the protective glass (4).</p> |
