<p>One of the problems facing the designers of an electronic display and data processing apparatus is how to allow the user to perform various page management functions to, e.g. text or graphic documents, residing in the system. Examples of such functions are deleting a page or retrieving it from storage or moving it from one location to another or storing it for easy later retrieval. This invention discloses a particularly user friendly arrangement of an electronic display and data processing apparatus comprising: computing means for storing data and a display operable to be controlled by the computing means to display a representation of a ring binder including at least one ring whereby when the user selects the ring of the ring binder the ring opens or closes.</p> |
