<p>A group of vectors for converting the signals of an image of an endoscope, which is resolved into plural color signals, into plural new color signals according to the statistical features of the image is set. The color signals of the image of the endoscope are converted into the plural new color signals by the matrix operation using the group of vectors, and filterings are applied to them. The plural new color signals after applying the filtering to them are converted into the plural original color signals by a matrix operation using the inverse matrix of the one used in the afore-mentioned matrix operation.</p> |
