<p>A method for sheathing elongate elements having a main body (10) made of a composite material comprises the steps of (i) producing the element to be sheathed (10) and a sheath element (12) separately with mutually adapted sizes and tolerances; (ii) placing the element (10) and the sheath (12) in their respective ready-for-use positions; and (iii) cold stretching the sheathing element (12) over the element to be sheathed (10).</p> |
