Packaging, partic. food in dishes, with a special heat sealable paper is by using a machine with at least one transversal (6) and at least one longitudinal (6') treated element, mounted at a work station. Elements have a lower (5) bar fixed to a chassis and an upper (6) tilting bar which together function as a vice able to fasten the edges of the continuous paper sheets in the desired position around the article to be packaged. Mating faces of the upper and lower bars have corresp. teeth and channels to assure the deformation of the double paper layer. Other faces have channels in which are located electric-resistance heating elements. The transversal element has double bars (5',5") or (6',6") between which slides a cutting blade, in syncronism with the other mechanism, to cut the sealed paper sheet(s). |
