The equipment for the automatic process involves a rotating drum, heat recovery from waste water (via smelt heat storage - Glauber salt NaSO4 x 10 H2O or similar salt and heat exchange with air from ouput air heat pump direct evaporator), storage of air warmth (from air solar panel at lower temps. with diffuse solar radiation) in salt cassettes of Glauber salt for discharge to output air heat pump direct evaporator, placing of output air channels between two salt cassettes (for solar panel air, etc.) for energy recovery from output air via the heat pump evaporator, and a tank for urine deposit and denitrification. The composting of biological waste involves oxygenation in and around the rotating drum, mixt. of material contg. carbon and nitrogen in the drum, fine breakdown of waste matter in a mill or screw, effective ventilation with output air, even with a low humidity content, use of a tube fan which sucks air downwards through the composting bed, and a drainage system which removes water from and awy from the drum. |
