<p>PURPOSE:To make the clearness and visibility of an image high and make the image easy to see by giving an image to be emphasized a gray background by intermittent displaying. CONSTITUTION:When B among A-C shown in a figure 1a is emphasized and displayed, intermittent display image data for an artificial half-tone display corresponding to the area B appears by an alternate switching display of an all-white pattern Aw and an all-black pattern Ab shown in a figure 1b to obtain a pattern Ai which is gray as shown in a figure 1b when visually expressed. Then OR data on the gray pattern Ai of the B-area data (B in figure 1a) contains image data on the character B at all times and the display image is emphasized so that the background of the all-black (continuously black) character B is gray as shown in a figure 1c. Thus, the image is high in clearness and visibility and easy to see.</p> |
