The endoscope has a side-looking duodenoscope (2) into which an exploratory catheter can be inserted. A guide wire fitting through the duodenoscope (2) and the catheter can be fitted with a guide catheter (10) for receiving an exploratory wire (12) to allow its insertion into the gall bladder lumen (20). A small endoscope, or a rinsing catheter can be slid into the gall bladder lumen (20) via the exploratory wire (12). Pref. the rinsing catheter has several channels for rinsing, suction and drying via injected gas.
