PURPOSE:To enable random access and to increase the capacity for information by not only transferring a physical recording mark on a information card to a disk-shaped recording medium but also transferring the physical recording mark on the disk-shaped recording medium to the information card. CONSTITUTION:For the transfer with a magnetic card 4, the magnetic card 4 is inserted in a card inserting part 8 of a card reading/writing device 5 in the direction of an arrow 9, a magnetic head 7 is mechanically withdrawn and the information card 4 is brought into tight contact with a disk-shaped recording medium 6. Then the magnetic recording mark is transferred to the card 4. For reproducing, to the contrary, the information on the information card 4 is transferred to the disk-shaped recording medium 6, the magnetic card 4 is withdrawn and the magnetic head 7 is loaded. Thus, the random access can be enabled and the capacity for the information can be increased. |
