PURPOSE:To evade trouble due to the simultaneous deviation of a processing program between a terminal side and a center side by controlling the latest generation control number of the processing program of the on-line terminal on the center side and sending the generation control number of the processing program at the terminal at the start of a communication from the terminal. CONSTITUTION:A terminal FD 1 is stored with the processing program of the terminal and the generation control number of the processing program. At the start of a communication with the center, the on-line terminal 2 reads the generation control number of the processing program out of the terminal FD 1 and sends a start telegraphic message 3 containing the generation control number. A center-side on-line processor 4 reads the latest generation control number of the processing program of the terminal out of a table file 5, compares it with the generation control number in the start telegraphic message 3, and carries on a conversation when the generation control number in the start telegraphic message 3 is larger than or equal to the generation control number read out of the table file 5. Consequently, trouble caused by the illegal transmission or reception of the telegraphic message due to a generation difference is precluded. |
