PURPOSE:To prevent fogs in blank parts and fading of recorded-images during long-term preservation by using 3dimethylamino, 6-methyl, and 7-phenylamino fluorine as a basic dye and using a compound expressed by a specific formula as a colorant. CONSTITUTION:A colorless or light colored basic dye and a reaction of a colorant capable of coloring by contacting with the basic dye are used for a thermal recording body. For the basic dye, 3-methylamino, 6-methyl, and 7-phenylamino fluorine are used. Further, at least one kind to be selected out of compounds expressed by a formula [I] is used as a colorant, where R represents bivalent group of carbon number 1-10, X and Y represent hydrogen atom, lower alkyl group, lower alkoxyl group, lower alkenyl group, hydroxyl group or halogen atom, respectively. For the bivalent group, alkylene group is desirable which may include the following: carbonyl group, hydroxyl group, halogen atom, unsaturation bond, aromatic ring, ether linkage, thioether linkage, ester linkage, or amide linkage. |
