The parabolic antenna for receiving UHF signals, especially signals originating from direct broadcasting satellites, comprises at least one radiating source (4) linked to a frequency converter (5), the said source being placed substantially at the focus of a parabolic shell (1). This parabolic shell (1) is integral with a radome (2) and, with the latter, defines a hollow volume (3) for protection against bad weather. The source (4) and the converter (5) are contained in the volume (3) defined by the parabolic shell (1) and the radome (2) in such a way as to be protected against impacts and bad weather originating from the outside. The source (4) and the converter (5) are fixed within the concavity of the parabolic shell (1) by appropriate fixing means. Use especially for receiving television transmissions broadcast by satellite. <IMAGE>
