摘要

PURPOSE:To mask unpleasant screen noise produced at the time of mode switching by adding data which successively fade-out a screen to video signals when a mode switching instruction is detected and data which successively fade-in the screen to the video signals after mode switching. CONSTITUTION:A fade signal generation circuit 43 performs fade-out by adding gradually increased data to video signals when the circuit 43 detects mode switching by means of a mode selecting switch 1 and, when a screen becomes a saturated state, switches a selector 32 by generating a mode selecting signal 11 so as to gradually decrease the data added to the video signals. As a result, the screen is returned to the original state displaying video signals only.
