SOUND FIELD CORRECTION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To extend the maximum delay time of delay data without increasing the frequency of the read of the delay data by using the delay data which is obtained by one delay means in an FIR filter in common among respective channels. CONSTITUTION:The FIR filter 31 is provided with delay elements 33 and 34, which are connected in series; and delay data given the maximum delay time by the delay element 33 is inputted to the delay element 34. Multipliers 351 - 25n, and 361 - 36n are connected to plural output terminals of one of the elements 33 and 34 and delay data outputted from the output terminals of those elements are multiplied by a coefficient to obtain reflected sound data. The output signal of an adder 40 which adds the reflected sound to direct sound data becomes one output signal of the FIR filter 31. Then FIR filters 31 and 32 are formed to make the maximum delay time twice as long as usual without increasing the frequency of a read of data from a delay RAM.
