PURPOSE:To reduce memory capacity and to increase a reading speed by providing this diagnostic information reading system with common address counters and a register for controlling the selection of outputs from a register file and a RAM. CONSTITUTION:Writing/reading addresses are respectively allocated to a register file 11 and a RAM 12 by respective address counters 13, 14, an output to an internal bus 101 is selected by an output signal applied from a microinstruction storing register 15 and the reading of data from the register file 11 and the RAM 12 at the time of diagnosis is controlled by a diagnostic processor 300. At the time of diagnosis, register numbers are allocated to all the contents of the register file 11 and the RAM 12 which exist in the above processor, and at the time of selecting an output, the register number is stored in a register 20. Consequently, the increment of a time required for reading and memory capacity for storing the diagnostic program can be suppressed. |
