PURPOSE:To prevent the fading of a recording image or the fog of a white part for a long period of time by using 3-dimethylamino-6-methyl-7- phenylaminofluorane as a basic dye and adding at least one kind of a specific hot-melt substance to a thermal recording layer. CONSTITUTION:3-dimethylamino-6-methyl-7-phenylaminofluorane is used as a basic dye and at least one kind of a hot-melt substance represented by formula [I] is added to a thermal recording layer. In the formula [1], R is a 2-8C divalent group which may be branched, R1-R4 are respectively a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, a phenyl group, a lower alkoxy group, a cycloalkoxy group, a lower alkylthio group, an aralkyloxy group, an aralkylthio group, a lower alkylcarbonyl group, an aralkyloxycarbonyl group or a halogen atom and R1 and R2 and R2 and R4 may be mutually bonded to form an aromatic ring and X and Y are respectively an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom. It is desirable to compound about 100-500 pts.wt. of the hot-melt substance per 100 pts.wt. of the fluorane compound. |
