<p>The invention relates to an apparatus for cleaning works, especially drains. It comprises a self-propelled machine provided with grinding/crushing means, comprising a substantially cylindrical casing (2), a hub (8) driven rotationally about a shaft (6) in the casing, and hammers (4) mounted on the periphery of the hub (8) so that each pivots freely about a pin (7) which is substantially parallel to the shaft (6) of the hub, the hammers thus being capable of moving nearer or away from the passage of the material sucked through the casing and means for taking up the material to be removed from the said works, which means comprise a duct section (3) in communication with the inlet of the casing, such that the material from the works is suctionally driven into the duct section (3), into the grinding/crushing means and into the outlet duct. <IMAGE></p> |
