PURPOSE:To freely control the attaching state of an effect and to prevent a musical tone from being vocalized in a monotone by controlling the attaching state of the effect corresponding to a signal representing the manipulated variable of a performance operator from a manipulated variable detecting means and signals in accordance with the manipulated variables of plural performance operators from a selection means. CONSTITUTION:The output of manipulated variable detection circuits 22-24 are connected to effect control signal formation circuits 26-28. Selection circuits 31-33 output either plural input signals to the effect control signal formation circuits 26-28, respectively corresponding to an effect control parameter from a control parameter generation circuit 25. The effect control signal formation circuits 26-28 are comprised of plural conversion tables from which the input signals are converted and outputted and plural computing elements which perform the arithmetic operations of the signals, and form effect control signals corresponding to detection signals from the manipulated variable detection circuits 22-24 and selection output signals from the selection circuits 31-33. |
