PURPOSE:To suppress a distortion and improve S/N through level control by negative feedback of a signal detected from an emitted output of an element to a negative feedback circuit. CONSTITUTION:A modulated element of modulated optical output is detected by a monitor detector 6 and is then fed back to a negative feedback circuit 2 through a feedback element 10. Distortion resulting from a modulated signal source 1 and an optical semiconductor element 5 is suppressed and S/N can be improved by controlling amplification degree of the circuit 2. |
