<p>PURPOSE:To automatically and continuously quench one ends of plural bar-like members by quenching and tempering one ends of the bar-like works while carrying plural bar-like works having round cross section and the same shape with one pair of square screws having the same screw thread. CONSTITUTION:One pair of the square screws 10, 20 formed with the same shape of screw threads 11, 21 are parallel set on the common table and rotated with gears 14, 24 mutually meshed with a common gear 15 in a driving motor 16. Further, a high frequency heating coil 2, quenching cooling liquid injection jacket 3 and high frequency tempering coil 4 are set parallel to the square screw 10 in order. The bar-like works 1 supplied one by one from a work supplying device are carried to the left side successively with the screw threads 11, 21 by rotating the square screws 10, 20, and the one end parts 1a are heated with high frequency induction heating coil 2, and after rapidly cooling and quenching them with injection of the cooling water from the jacket 3, these are temperature with the tempering coil 4. The one end parts 1a of plural bar-like works 1 are continuously and automatically quenched and tempered.</p> |
